Quick project, worked on it on and off over 3 days. Used Kreg pocket joinery from the inside for all except the back that I made removable for cleanout. Plan is from https://www.popularwoodworking.com/articleindex/old-plane-birdhouse

I never saw a Plane O’ birdhouse before, now I have. Nice work and very unique.

I saw the small picture and wondered why he’s got his new wood plane up in a tree so finally stopped and had a read and it’s a cool looking bird house. LOL

You did a very creative job on this birdhouse. I’ve never seen an older plane being used this way.

Replica, about 4 X the size or a normal one. No old plane was compromised, the only metal in this one is a few screws. I do have some old planes but nothing quite like this one.
