My wall was a bit too bare with just the single wall hanging so I made two more to fill in the wall.

The wall hanging in the middle was from an earlier project that I had posted the two on each end are two that I just completed once I got my shop back up and running.

The limbs were brought to me by the sycamore and the Red Oak trees in my front yard, they threw down on the ground.

I remember the first one you made and I like it. Having 3 on the wall makes it look even better. My wife and I were talking about your work and we both pointed to our little artificial bluebird sitting on my bandsaw box and thought a few of those would look good perched on your wall hangings. But either way we like the natural look of them. Nice work!

I really like that. The genius and art is in it’s simplicity. The imagery is unmistakable. It truly looks as if you’ve added three windows out into the world. Great job!

They look very nice, Randy. I’ll bet you could sell them if you wanted to.

Good to find inspiration in your environment. Looks like you are expanding and “branching out”. Thomas Hucker a well known modern furniture maker from NYC used the branches in a screen he made. Had them cast in bronze.

Good to see you making again.

That’s a unique idea. I think you are on to something. You have created with nature to bring the outdoors in with texture, shape. They have a very calming effect. I would like to see you display your work in a gallery. Thanks for sharing.

Different and interesting. At first glance these look like windows facing a forest in wintertime. Very nice.
