My son and his girlfriend told me I could stay with them in New York City any time I wanted but they’re not running a hotel and I would have to make my own bed. So I made this Murphy bed!

Nice! well done, the painting on the front is a nice touch. if the penciled pricing on the wood is any indication, you have chosen very good material!

It’s very creative and beautifully done. It’s a real eye catcher.

Thanks! The front is the basic construction 3/4” plywood platform for the mattress with a queen sized fabric print (cherry blossom duvet cover) stretched across the face and stapled around the edges. Trim strips cover the staples.
