Made this lathe based on a Jet 10-15…...Used a 2hp motor from a treadmill with a speed control for variable speed capability…....Sides and base are double thickness with Baltic birch on top and heavy pressed board on inside for weight gain…...Currently has two Jacob chucks but working on 4 jaw chuck and face plate…...Was a fun project…...

Very impressive wood working. Almost to beautiful to use. Nice work.

Nice looking and well named project.

I have a slightly broken treadmill with a speed controller on it. Never thought of stealing the speed controller from it though. Now you’ve given me an idea…don’t think the wife will like it too much though.
