Needed this for my niece’s girls. Put the drawers on the bottom so they have a higher shelf to put down a book etc.
solid oak with oak plywood panels. Hand cut dovetails and I goofed on the drawer pins and tails layout but other than that it was pretty straight forward. Rails are mortise and tenon.

You did a great job on this project. From the design to the construction everything is top notch. You do have a problem you know. When those girls grow up and go there separate ways, each is going to want ‘their’ heirloom table. I hope they don’t split it down the middle. You may have to build another… an another, an another, thats what happens when you do a terrific job on a beautiful project, everybody”s going to want one.
