This is another toy/hope/blanket chest that I built for one of my employees. I have made several of these, but this is the first where I utilized half lap joints instead of pocket holes for the joinery. I used pine lumber and birch ply for construction. I stained with Kona from Rustoleum and finished with Minwax Satin Poly. I also installed some wood blocks to keep the lid from slamming on tiny fingers. Thanks for looking!
