Two more trinket boxes, made of curly maple and home made banding, sort of trunk style, very small measuring 5:W x 3”D x 3 1/2 H. lined with velvet.

Beautiful. Looks like a lot of work went into these. The banding is a nice touch. Reminds me of the straps on old steamer trunks.

The top is solid piece, planed then sanded to a curve.

Beautiful boxes, love the banding and the trunk style shape.
It must be a very fiddly process to actually make those bandings.
