Finished up a cribbage board I have been working on for my brother in-law and thought I would make a couple sets of pins while I was at it. The board is a rescue from a fireplace along with about 5 of her sisters. I was really happy with the way the grain popped after I put a few coats of teak oil on it. I left the pins non uniform to kind of match the board. The gentleman that gave me the wood said it was black walnut so I’ll go with that. The two white pins are vine maple.

Looks a little light for black walnut (to me, at least), but it’s got a great grain and you did a beautiful job finishing it. I’d be happy to play crib with it.
