Not really project worthy, and not all wood, but anyway….
The Grandson’s first birthday is coming up. Saw versions of these on Pinterest. A length of 2” PVC some 45 degree elbows and a little shop left over plywood and wood scraps, a bag of ping pong balls on Amazon, and here it is. I added ramps to the middle section but ping pong balls are unpredictable so I had a strip of plexiglass in the shop and screwed it over the ramps to keep them from rolling off the rails. I did route a trough in the rails but still; Ping pong balls really bounce!
The object of the toy? As if you didn’t know, drop the ping pong balls in the top and they fall to the bottom either through the tubes or meandering down the ramps.
So for anyone with baby young’uns or grandyoung’uns, This is a quick build. Oh, you’ll need some spray paint should you want color.
A very short video of it running here.
Ta-Da!

Any project that takes time to design and build is worthy. I can see a one year old having a great time with this. Good job !!!!!!!
