Repurposed flooring into carving strop

I used some 5/8” Brazilian mahogany flooring to make a compact set of strops to keep the knives and gouges in tip top shape.
I used the box joint method to make the hinge to keep them seperate but as one tool.
I use a seperate strop for gouges and knives.
Just thought some would be interested in this.

A very clever way by hinging it. It also keeps the tool box cleaner.
