Church window wall hanging my daughter-in-law asked me to make. I am a right-angle guy so making a curved project was a challenge. Basically it’s constructed of 1/8” – 3/16” strips cut off of standard 2×4’s then glued together. The first few pieces were glued around a curved form I made. The balance was simply glued in place to fill in the rest of the piece. Lots of gluing/clamping/wait/repeat. Finally I used sawdust mixed with glue and wood putty to fill in gaps. D-I-L will prime and paint it.

Looks like a lot of work. It’s very reminiscent of Cathedral windows I saw all over Europe.
