Here is a pinewood derby car of the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. It has an opening hood an a push bar.

No, sadly by the time I finished it we had a death in family and was not in any condition to race.

I was raised on that show. very nice. If it only had an 8 track player with Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison that would be a complete flashback.

I ended up here while Googling for “General Lee derby car decals” and all I’ve found is that my plan sucked… You’ve inspired me to step it up a couple notches and really make the boy proud. Great job! BTW, where did you get the decals? :)

I found water slide decals on ebay a long time ago. You may still find some there. They are abit smaller then the 1/24 modle kit. The ones I got had extra decals like charger and # 66 if that helps. As for building try to take your time.
