This urn I made for the father of my good friend. It is made from walnut burl. I made the urn to the same size as the one from the funneral home. The box is made from one board. The top cut on the table saw to create a raised look. I finnished it with shellac. I engraved the box with a dremel.

Nice box Kevin, and always a good deed to help a friend in time of need. I just finished one last month for a friend’s father. Made it 300 cubic inches to leave room for her to place some keepsakes in it. Oh yeah, I invited her to help build it, which she drew great satisfaction from.

Keep doing good work and good works.
