Wood Gears Collage from scrap wood scroll sawn

I used scrap wood left over from other projects, too nice to throw out. Many varieties to bring colour to the work were used. To stay within the recycled approach, I used part of a discarded oak cupboard door for the frame and attached a piece of prepped MDF board. The idea was to suggest meshing gears along with rods and piston working in tandem. The piece was finished with a couple of coats of mineral oil.

Sure this project is a real challenge. I also enjoyed the video. Beautiful combination of different shapes and colours.
