Made of Walnut, Maple, Cherry, and Purple Heart
glue: Titebond III
I made these, mostly from scraps, although I had to buy maple and purple heart. I had cherry from a tree my father took down in Maine. This made the boards excellent Christmas gifts for the family, since each one has a connection to our family home in Maine.
I used a simple clamping technique with a single caul in the middle. (made of Sycamore)
For this glue-up I had to move into the kitchen because it was too cold in the garage :)

Thanks BB1. That’s exactly it. These are pretty simple compared to some I’ve seen, but meaningful for the recipient.

These boards are beautifully done and I like the patterns.
