I needed a coat hook at work. I thought about making some sort of bigger standing coat rack that others in the department could also use, but decided to knock this out quickly just so I could have something to use. I work in an open office space, but on one side of me is a cubicle wall and I thought I could make something to sit over top of that wall easily.

This hook is made of a small piece of walnut and was really my first time carving anything. Finished with Bush Oil and beeswax. 100% done with hand tools. It works great and has drawn a few looks and compliments from coworkers!

Nicely done. Projects you use every day are extra fun.

-- Red pencil, red marker, marking knife... doesn't mater, the wood will end up the same color.
