This project was supposed to be extremely easy. However, I had a day where it felt like a higher force was against me. Everything from forgetting to plug in my saw, breaking my kreg jig drill bit, to all the “off the wall” questions and comments my son had for me. It was great working with my son, he learned how to make it work when stuff breaks on you. And overall we finished the project. I made a step stool from a single 2×4. It works better for children due to the first step being so small. But it is very sturdy. I haven’t put a finish on it because I haven’t figured out if I am going to do it at all. I was planning on making a build video for this project, but instead I decided to highlight all the problems and “speed bumps” I encountered.
