So shortly after completing the pantry organizer, I began on another Pinterest inspired project.

Again, made from the same cedar to keep it light, I kept the design and construction simple.

Using nothing more than glue and biscuits I built up the structure.

I did it one section at a time and just kept clamping and gluing onto the previous section rather than trying to assemble the whole thing at once.

Used a trim router to round over the edges, and then a spray on lacquer finish.

Then used a french cleat to mount it to the wall and filled her up.

Course, it didn’t take us long to expand the collection and now the wife says I should just make a bigger one.

Those honey-do projects never do end.

That was an option I considered, but at the time I didn’t have a good dado stack like I do now. If I was to remake it I probably would go that route.
