Made in high school Woods class, with Walnut and white birch. Used a router for edges and handle, and put 8 coats of mineral oil finish.

It’s great to see the next generation learning the skills needed for wood working. I ‘ve been enjoying wood working since I was in the 7th grade and took my first Industrial arts Class (wood Class). I am retired now and build something about every day. I have made a few cutting boards and the one you made looks great. The great thing about end-grain boards is the knife doesn’t cut up the board because the end-grain hides the knife marks. I look forward to see future post of your work.
