Maple Burl inlay chessboard

I made this for a friend. It was my first inlay project and was definitely a skills-stretcher for me. The Burl is maple, chessboard is Black Walnut and maple. The butterfly is also Black Walnut. There are two drawers, lined with green felt with white oak piece dividers. A fun project and now onto the next…
