Picked up a 1986 tsc-10 busy bee on kijiji for 200 bucks. Was in amazing shape except the cast iron top. Cleaned it up and gave the body a shot of paint. Added the homemade paddle switch and a small side shelf to keep my most used push sticks. Much better saw then I was stuck with all these years…was using a small saw from mastercraft…served me well but I had no idea what a difference this would make in my shop.

Sturdy cabinet and good fence – you are way ahead of the game.

I just pick up the exact same saw, and I need to refurb it as well.
How did you go about cleaning the cast iron?

I need to do this and remove some oxidation from the fence rails, then paint and calibrate.
Any other tips on the saw would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance,
