This idea started out based on filling a drawer with boxes custom made to fit.

The basis is cut a bottom the size of the drawer, then build the boxes on top of it and cut them apart. Well it didn’t quite work out that way this was a kind of stream of consciousness build.

Thought I would post it anyway and let the people smarter than me figure out a better way to do it.

First, I cut a piece of 1/4” ply to loosely fit inside the drawer.

Next, I cut the box sides and fronts and glued on a 3/8×3/8 nailing strips. The units consist of two sides glued to the strip in between. The strip will be glued and tacked on to the bottom. Then I cut them apart by ripping down the center.
Then I glued in the fronts/backs in a similar fashion.

After cutting angle off the front with the bandsaw, I added some glue blocks as shown in the thumbnail.

Here’s what I ended up with:

Well you are certainly organized. Always nice to pull out the entire collection rather than grab a few and have to go back. As a tip I suggest color coding them in some way to differential size or type of screw. Our brains are wired for association, you will surprised how well this works.

Looks like the idea worked out. I do the same kind of process. Lets start this way and see where goes. Most times I get where I need to go, though maybe not by the straightest route.
