This is a wine cabinet I built for my sister. It is made from pine and spruce laminate, oak plywood, aluminum rod, oak dowels, glue and wood screws. Stained dark walnut/Poly.

The cabinet has a swing down door that hides saucers and wine classes. There are wine glass holders built into the top of the cabinet to allow more than 20 glasses. The bottle rack holds 21 wine bottles.

Love it. I’m looking at making something like that for myself…more of liquor and some wine. I saw some ideas of drawers in the bottom part of the cabinet, but the wine holders like that is a good idea.

Thank you for the comment. I am with you, Justin I also would like the liquor cambinet. Woodsmith has pretty good plans and may have one.

A. J., thank you for your comment. This cabinet gave me hell. I started building it in my garage in December then moved it inside to get the finish to dry. That was a huge mistake. All my glued joints popped apart and the sides warpped. I almost trashed it.

Have your say...
