refurbished 1983 duracraft/craftsman 1236 lathe

Oldie but goodie. Got one like it. Mine is a craftsman. They’re the same except mine hase black handles.

Yep I got the crafsman Model….I got screwed I paid 80 bucks!!!!

Yep! i got one of them also, mine is green. I have one complaint and that is the fact that the tail piece or tower is not very easy to move without throwing it out of alignment with the chuck . other than that is has worked great for many years.

I am looking at buying one similar as a starter lathe. Are these decent lathes?

I know I love mine, cleaned up it runs like a champ. just need to get a 4 jaw for it.
