I found LJ’s about the time this contest started, and it got the wheels turning! Since then I’ve been interested in the G+G style, been searching the web and reading books on them and the Hall brothers. I went out and plunked down the cash on two pieces of mahogany, but was afraid to make the first cut. Finally I decided to just get on with it, I’ve spent all this money on tools, why get hung up on the wood? Well, when the dust settled this is what was left:
Marissa kept an eye on the finishing; multiple coats of waterlox, but she couldn’t stop the runs. Oh well, if I don’t tell people, they won’t know.

I can’t see the runs. You’ll have to take more photos! I guess you really didn’t have to worry so much. It looks like you ‘ve got a handle on the Greene and Greene look. Nice piercings and cloud lifts.

Nice work Robb. BTW, I hope you don’t mind if I added you as a buddy.
The edge treatment on my SU is just a round over. I think you are right about the Blacker indent. I am walking the thin line of too many details on that model LOL.
Hope you got what you wanted. Let me know if not.
