My sister’s sister and brother-in-law both share the same birthday, only 2-3 years apart. A few days prior to their birthday I asked her what she had gotten them, nothing yet. I asked her if they had a nativity and then told her I had one laying around at home. I hadn’t gotten around to posting any of the other three I made in March, but this is one of them. I need to find a better way to paint them. I’m sick and tired of painting by hand. Each nativity takes two coats.

I like it! Have you tried a small airless sprayer?

Hey, if you want good lawn ornaments August is not too early. Great design, and I like the way it is tied together. I’ve always wanted to make 3D Christmas lawn ornaments. Maybe next year.

I have made this pattern myself and it looks fantastic lit up at night. I have ordered the pattern for the other pieces in the set but have not found the time to turn them out. I know what you are saying about hand painting. One thing I tried that worked pretty well is that I primed them with a roller when they were still sheets of plywood. Then it was a little easier just priming the edges and then painting the set.

Nice work!

Don-I’ll have to try priming them first. We’ve had one of these for years and do light it up at night. It casts a nice shadow on the house.

Hi Tim. Looks great. Really like the 3D effect.
