I am redoing my yard of my (new to me) house. this was a painted brick wall with a 5 Inch concrete cap. I made a fence just tall enough to fit under the cap, all scrap wood. As I was staining it red oak i got some on the cream colored concrete. thought it looked good so I did the whole cap. It looks like its made of very old wood. Going to clear coat it . Don’t know how it will hold up but i will se about march next year.

We really like your “scrap” wood fence. It’s a great design. We hope it will hold up well for many years.
Thanks for posting.
