The final touch on my mom’s kitchen work. This spice rack was supposed to be finished in July, but now is.
this vertical (spice drawer) is held in place with aspen runners mounted on center of birch edge banded 1/2” ply and 3/4” ply with solid oak. The face board was profiled with an roman ogee bit to complement the adjacent cabinets.
Pic 1 the completed view
pic 2 Kreg pocket hole jig and freshly poly’d boards
pic 3 parts screwed up
pic 4 shelf pin holes drilled
pic 5 runner boards mounted (tight space) 4 1/2”
pic 6 closed view
4 1/2×20 1/2×24

Great work. I like similar.
i love cooking & ordering in my kitchen,..... some dust on each jar…..,
so i think that many spices must be closed by some door, maybe glass/stained glass,
do you intend completed rack with door?

That’s a very nice piece of work, Bradford. It’s a very good design and well finished. I enjoyed seeing it.
