This is furniture I made for my wife’s art room last year. The center 3’ by 4’ table is torsion box construction and can be tilted from flat to about 60 degrees (it is locked in place by two 1/2” aluminum pins one of which is seen in the 4th picture). The desk also breaks down into 4 manageable pieces (the two sides, the center table, and the back). You can see some of the hardware that allows me to take this thing apart in the 4th picture as well.

I fit the shelves into the closet. The shelves also come easily apart, they are held in one piece by gravity and some small tenons. the shelves themselves are almost 4 feet long without any middle supports, so I made them as torsion boxes as well (there’s nothing I hate more than a bowed shelf).
