hi fellow LJ another bowl that i made not as many pieces as the last few no real feather ring a little less eye catching but i enjoyed making it i think it turning out ok what do you think

it is 12 inch by 5 inch sanded to 1200 grid finished with 6 coats of finishing oil

it took about 8 hours to complete over a week

I like it. If I was to do a segmented bowl this is something that I would want to do. The reason I don’t do segmented bowls is that it takes so long for the cutting and glueing process. I must admit that when you get through nothing can compete with its beauty.

Branch, your great talent in turning is seen in this beautiful segmented bowl. Wish I learn from you. There are ways of avoiding glare due to flash, posted on LJ. Next time try it and your bowl will look much better.
