Nothing fancy, some simple aromatic cedar birdhouses I made for a local consignment shop. All of the lumber started as 4/4, so this was a great project to work my resawing skills :)
Each one measures about 9”x9”x9”. I chose this cedar because Blue Birds are naturally drawn to it. I used a Dremel to carve “Home Tweet Home!” on the front of each, spray painted it black then took a sanding block to remove the spray paint, leaving the carved letters black. I wish I could say my Dremel free-hand is that good and consistent, but I initially used a print out of the words and some carbon paper to get them there :)
Thanks for looking :)

Nice job on the houses John. They’re going to make some birds very happy. Unique design as well, thanks for posting.

Nice houses!
My only suggestion would be to leave the perches off. The bluebirds don’t need ‘em, and it will make them much less attractive to “undesirables”.

Thank you both! And thanks for the tip about the perches, I’ll definitely make that a modification for the next batch.
