Hey Lumberjocks,
The painting is the famous barn on Vasco Road outside Livermore CA – the flag was painted on the barn shortly after 9/11. I pass this everyday on the way to and from work. I made the frame from a small slab of Lychee that I picked up in San Ramon. The slabs have been drying for about a year and a half. Lots of work getting a small slab from rough slab to this point. Even though a ran this through my planer – I did leave some mill marks on the slab. They ended up landing on the LH upright on this frame.
Thanks for checking out the Barn Painting Lychee frame.

Gorgeous work. I love it all…the frame, the matting, and the painting.
