I made four of these as Christmas gifts.

They’re nothing fancy but they were fun and simple to make using wooden scraps.

Although they can be used for supporting anything, I think of them as sushi trays ;)

The woods used are ash, padauk and walnut. Although not obvious, the edge on the ash side follows the natural edge of the tree. Everything was made using hand tools.

Very nice! Just posted some similar boards I made ad Christmas gifts. Called them cutting boards, though, as they’re larger than these.
