This is a remake of a Totem. The original was made sometime in the early 1970’s .A cancer survivor asked me to reproduce it for him. Both wood types are Red African Mahagony. He wanted it stained espresso. To be honest, this was my first time using an actual router in about 9 years. Along with it came a few lessons, like the amountof dust and chips that fly. Once I got used to that I was able to focus on the
Task.
Thank you for reading!

Really no meaning to the object. It is just s decorative wooden item. The Greek letters, Omega Psi Phi, are the name of my fraternity.

Interesting totem, Design must be non North
American, I live in the Pacific North west Canada and all the totems here are carved trees

Excellent work-especially considering you haven’t used a router in 9 years.
