Simple wall cabinet I threw together for my mother for Christmas. Brass pins acting as hinges because I was unhappy with all the hinges I had at my bench. The top pin is not fixed and I decided to leave it proud in the event this needs to be displayed without the door. The small shelf at the bottom can also be removed to make more space inside. Brass shelf pins have become my favorite knobs for any project! Finished with shellac and paste wax.

I’ve been thinking of combining oak and cherry in something similar, so nice to see your results. Love it.
