As Filmaker and part time youtuber I needed some sort of camera hold/rig to carry around my DSLR and I needed something that could improve my image quality. A stabilizer was the way to go but they are so expensive and even those entry level camera cages were around 100Euros..
So as always it was time to hack something and make one. I started with a piece of aluminum and bend it roughly to size with help of a hammer and a vice. I then drilled a few holes on the bottow to have diferent mounting places for my camera. At he end I didnt like the rough shape and made a wood handle.
