I honestly have to say I’ve never seen anything like this or for that matter even heard of it. It’s a cool idea and I could see the space saving advantages. Sure is thinking out of the box. Nice work. They both can share a home.

...and if the tank leaks the dog gets a free bath and fish dinner!!!

JK! It’s a great idea! My wifes been wanting a decorative kennel in the living room AND a new tank stand. If she sees this I’m getting put to work!

Great Idea! Welcome to Lumberjocks! Just felt like turning/enlarging/colouring the Picture. Hope you don’t mind.

Looks great. It doesn’t look like you have a finish on it yet?
I don’t have an aquarium but I made a similar dog “palace” as my wife calls is. Mine is built to fit in a corner with a diagonal front and the top just has a lamp and pictures on it. After the dog got past the untrusted puppy stage I took the door off and that is her bed. You can see it in my projects.

Great job, every pet should be so lucky to have an attractive place to call home. Too bad you couldn’t have put a glass bottom on the tank so the dog has something to watch. :)

Thanks for posting and welcome to Lumberjocks.
