Our 200th project is kind of a simple little thing.

Barb wanted a small sled for a holiday display,

so I drew up a pattern, & went to my shop for a couple of hours.

She was very pleased with the results.

This is made of Aspen, Bigtooth Aspen a tree that blew down at our cabin.

We burned quite a bit of the wood, I wished I had saved more of it.

I like it better than Basswood for carving. The grain has some life in it.

Assembled with a glue gun. The sled is 9 1/2” long X 4 1/2” wide. This doesn’t have a finish on it.

It looks nice as is.

Congrats on the 200th project and what a sweet one it is.

I really enjoyed reading the story as well and I just have say how special and how inspiring it when you post “we” and “our”.

I’m just trying to keep you working, Dick. Obviously Barb does not have enough projects for you to do!

That’s a lot of sawdust under the TS, so to speak., congratulations.

Pretty darn good project for a few hours in the shop. Looks life size to me ( that’s a really big teddy bear)
