Yellow Pine Farm Table

My Son ask me to build him a Farm Table for Christmas. He wanted it from Pine and stained Gray to look old. He plans to put a few coats of poly on to seal it all up. I glued a oak board on to the top of the frame, where the top is connected to the frame. I used z clips and cut the slots in the oak board with a biscuit joiner. I added a oak pressure plate where the tapered pin goes through the spreader to keep the pin from compressing the pine and working loose.

The top has breadboard ends that are pined with oak dowels.
