Outdoor table requested several years ago by my lovely wife. This thing got out of hand on size. It is bar height 42”. Legs are made of 1” pipe and stretchers are 3/4” pipe. One would think that this would be a somewhat inexpensive project, but since i didnt want to cut and thread my own pipe it turned out that the pipe and fittings were close to $200. The top is box store cedar. I used biscuits to join the top. Dimensions on the top are about 40” x 80”. It weighs a ton and shouldnt get moved around by the west Texas winds. This is actually the first top. I made the mistake of trying to epoxy it and ended up with a huge mess. So i made another top and have not yet applied finish. The epoxied top will be cut up and put through the planer and made into an outdoor bar.
