Scroll Saw Bowls

Today I made 7 scroll saw bowls, but one was sold before I got to take a picture so there are 6 in the pictures.
Most are made from 1/2 inch material. 2 maple and walnut, 2 cherry and walnut (one sold), 1 cherry.
1 bowl is 3/4” maple, when making that bowl I should have made the rings a little thicker, which would have made it a little shorter and better proportioned. It still works, I just don’t like it as much.
The last bowl is made from a slice of a tree. I am not sure what type of tree it is, I am going to take a look tomorrow and see if I can match the bark to a tree that has leaves and figure out what it is. I really like how the grain looks on the side of the tree bowl. Since you cut back and forth across all of the grain lines, it looks figured.
The pattern for these is from the book “fun & easy scroll saw projects” by patrick spielman.
Thanks for looking!

Very nice work. Also it was really nice of you to credit the pattern designer, this is something that is too often neglected. Keep up the good work
