Hello. I am kind of in the serving tray mode right now so thought I should do some posting. I made this tray for my friend the sign shop who helps with some of the graphic arts for my projects. She mentioned they had bought his grandfathers house & were doing a total remodel, with Knotty Alder kitchen cabinets. Soooooo I went to the cabinet shop & bought enough leftovers to make this Knotty Alder tray. It is roughly 21" long by 13" wide by 1 1/2" inches deep. Another friend the Trophy shop lazered in her last name ( yes it is Green ) I then mixed in some green automotive tinting color & mica pearl metallic with my epoxy and applied it to the lazered area, then used the drum sander to smooth it all down. (this was done before the handles & sides were installed. The finish is Min-Wax Satin Polyurethane from the rattle can, I think about 4 coats with some sanding & steel wool in between coats. It was well received. Thanks for lookin….........................Jack

Simply beautiful design. Who would tell that straight lines could be so awesome.

Great gift. It looks very sturdy. The Green lettering and the veriation in the paint is wonderful.
Green on Green.
The bottom could make a good cutting board.
