scrap piece of 4×4 pine from building the lathe bench turned into a fun little stubby fat bat. first pic is with 36 cents for size comparison. see lathe review at http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/1563
finished with shellawax burnished on the lathe and then johnsons paste wax for a quick hand buff
I don’t do it often, but every time i turn something I love it more.
