I have been wanting to make a unit like this for quite some time.I needed something to hold Kreg accessories and dowel joinery components. My inspiration comes from previously viewed projects on LJ. Construction is 1/2”(true 1/2”)Baltic birch plywood glued and screwed where appropriate. Jig is secured to top with 10-32 machine screws inserted into threaded t-nuts mounted on underside of lid. 1” wide spacers help support length of side supports and are secured with 1” screws. Box is 11 1/2” deep and 48” wide. Compartments are roughly 5” x 5” x 4”deep. Piano hinge along the back(2 pcs. 30” &18”)help with the lid weight. Finished with Watco Natural Oil finish and paste wax.I am still trying to figure out the best way to fasten it closed. I am very pleased with the result!

Very nice! I love it when people come up with helpful ways of making the shop more organized. There are a LOT of pieces involved with the Kreg system and this is a great way to keep it all in one place and organized. Thanks
