My daughter came to me Saturday morning and said She needed a box she told Me the size and that it had to have finger joints. Well this is it . Its made from reperposed cedar decking materials planed down to 3/8 ” thick It took me all day yesterday to mill materials and to figure out a jig to make the finger joints. The splayed out sides were my idea. Thats what took so long…...Thanks for looking…............Schloemoe

The deminsions are 18” long X 14” wide X 9” tall

Nice box. The way you did the sides has made it special.

Those finger joints on the splayed sides really turned out nice. Bet they weren’t easy!

Great looking box. Now I need to build something with splayed sides using finger joints, or dovetails. I need to work splayed sides into the design some how.

Not the mission projects I’m doing right now… Thanks.

Neat box. That would be a handy size for lots of purposes. I do like the angled sides. I have a similar jig to yours, but I actually use mine on the table saw with the dado set.
