Steve, I bet you just spend hours flipping that thing over and over…. better yet, start wearing a bandanna and join a Scobby-Doo band…. Someone got me a rainstick for Christmas one year, I was like really? a rainstick? WTF. It ruined the holiday for me that year. As everyone was enjoying their Transformer or showing off their new Swatch, all I could do was create the sound of rain….. even on the brightest days the sound of the rainstick would bring a cloud over my head….. Now, (still no therapy) whenever I see a Hippie with a rainstick I push them to the ground and throw their stick in the woods so they can’t find it. I also say to them “Take a bath.” Hippies….

Great job Steve on stick and video. I’m just another old hippie too I recon (but I did have my bath today) since I’ve always enjoyed the rain sticks. Got to make one soon. What did you put inside yours for the noise? It went past so fast on the video I could not tell.

OK OK no offence to old hippies. Just dirty ones…. the 2010 kind whose parents are retired in Florida and they are living off there dead Uncle’s trust fund…... They are like ” We’re just dirty hippies man livin from town to town…. think we could trade some fire gems for some gas or a sandwich.” Mean while they seem to come up with the $120 bucks for Phish or Rat dog tickets twice a week….. I kick over your drum and throw your rainstick in the woods. One of my favorite John Prine songs is Old Hippie!
sorry Steve I got a few PM’s … just tryin to have a laugh…. which is hard to do here.
Great rainstick! and nice Video!
