One project I managed to raise money for AFJROTC.

I’m not a wood worker (though I wish I had the talent to make MANY of the things I see)...
I am the Booster Club President for the Council Bluffs AFJROTC. (4) of our Cadets were selected to participate in the 75th Anniversary of D-Day in Normandy in 2019 and because it is such an incredible opportunity, we have decided to take additional Cadets that achieve specific levels on the Corp Staff. This means we have approximately $50,000 to raise to cover the entirety of the costs for the Cadets…which is our ultimate goal.
To raise money we have various types of fundraising events which often include raffles and/or silent auctions. We are now preparing for our Annual Drill Meet and Silent Auction. The event will be host to 10 or more teams from the Midwest consisting of 1,500+ attendees. Because this event is host to such a large number of people, it happens to be one of our most successful fundraising opportunities of the year. We put on a Silent Auction and when large enough items are presented, raffles. I am looking for donations of stand-alone items, gift baskets, items for gift baskets, gift certificates,
Etc. I am hoping that I can reach some folks with some wonderful talents that might be able to help us with our efforts. I am hoping that some of you would be willing to donate one of your creations to put on auction at our Drill Meet January 27th. , I’m just very devoted to this group and my mission as a parent and Booster leader has become ensuring every one of those Cadets are able to experience this opportunity without a financial burden.
