I was contacted by a client to create a wooden box to hold the cremated remains of her dog along with a few mementos. She requested that top not have a traditional handle. She also had specific dimensions for the box.

I created this box out of tiger maple and wrapped the grain. The floating panel in the lid is walnut as are the small side handles, spline keys and lid keepers. The finish is Minwax wipe-on polyurethane.

That is a handsome box. I really like the clean sharp lines. You did a really good job, both on construction and design. Thanks
