Just a quick weekend project. Made with walnut, maple, and red heart. First time I’ve worked with walnut and red heart (not easily available where I live). Joinery was mortise and tenons.

Like it a lot – can you post some pictures of the joinery? Is the top essentially breadboarded underneath? Not that you can breadboard from that angle, but is it a continuous tenon? How did you account for expansion (or was it just an issue with the stretcher since the legs and top might shrink and expand together).

Joinery was simply floating tenons (Domino). I put two on top of each leg and four along the top of the support and cut the slots so there was room for expansion. Two on each side of the support to join the legs to it.
