Hey All
I found this nice piece of wood on the beach of Lake Superior back in the early 90’s. My friends and I were on a ski trip to the UP in Michigan and the second day was neasr 50’s so we decided to go for a drive to the lake and see where the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. We ran along the beach looking for stuff and I found a beautiful hunk of slate rock and this beautiful piece of driftwood barely sticking out of the sand. It took us damn near 20 minutes to pull it out and it was full of sand but we threw it in the back of my Scout and went back looking for more cool stuff. Then we got tired and had some beers. Twenty somethings will do that you know. Enjoy!
